Our Aim:

Our aim is to provide a high quality service based on care and flexibility in support of meeting guests needs during their stay.  We ensure to provide a confidential and client-centred approach to all therapeutic treatments.  We offer a creative and spacious environment to support guests to feel welcomed and receive a restful and rejuvenating opportunity whilst staying at Mac Retreat and/or receiving our therapeutic services.  We offer a professional and friendly service from a team of qualified local professionals. 

Our History:

Mac Retreat was designed and developed by the proprietors -Sandra Gee and Jim Sharp.  Whilst building their home Sandra had a vision that the home could become a "home away from home" in support of guests coming to stay at magical Mangawhai .  Her vision also included the opportunity for guests to be able to access the therapeutic services that she was already providing to local people in Mangawhai.   During the process of building and as the vision evolved we included disability access, created a more creative space for the therapy room, infra-red sauna and spa pool garden. 

In the process of Mac retreat growing the need for team support soon developed.  As team members joined their own ideas came forth and since, the services of Mac Retreat, have been further created and integrated.  Mac Retreat has a philosophy that embraces, creativity, flexibility and growth so we look forward in participating how Mac Retreat continues to grow!
