The team at Mac Retreat work collaboratively to ensure you feel welcome and to provide services that can be flexible and unique to support your stay.

INTRODUCING THE TEAM

Sadie Parker-Wynyard

Sadie is the manager of Mac Retreat and has traveled extensively nationally and internationally for many years with her sport. Sadie has cycled at international level and is currently coaching riders in fitness and skills and managing a National Mountain bike team.

Sadie trained as a massage therapist at Wellpark College and has recently moved to Mangawhai to enjoy the winterless north and all that Magical Mangawhai can offer her and her 4 year old boy.

Sadie aims to offer a high level of service in support of offering guests the opportunity to be able to enjoy and benefit from Mac Retreat services. Her vision holds intention that Mac retreat services can be AFFORDABLE and FLEXIBLE for ANYONE to come and stay and benefit from the services provided.

Sadie currently manages Mac Retreat services and has a local private massage practice on site.

Jim Sharp and Sandra Gee

Jim and Sandra are  proprietors of Mac Retreat and have been involved in designing and building Mac Retreat. Jim has been a builder for 40 years and has extensive experience in building and creating beautiful environments. He has a love for natural wood and sought to find the Macracarpa wood to build the retreat from local mills. He has creatively adapted plans whilst building Mac Retreat as the vision for services grew and changed through out the development, his intention was always to build a "home away form home".

Sandra has worked in the health industry for many years and together with Jim had the vision to make Mac retreat what it is today. A unique building/home for guests to enjoy in Magical Mangawhai.

Deva is from Russia and before immigrating to New Zealand in 1996 she enjoyed teaching short courses and running numerous Massage and Meditation workshops. Deva has been practising massage for over 20 years and is still as enthusiastic about it as ever and happy to share her experience with others.

Deva aims to provide her best possible heart felt therapies and care in support of meeting her clients needs.

Deva currently lives locally, is self employed as a massage therapist, an artist and a landscape designer. She offers her professional therapeutic services to the guests of Mac Retreat as well as to the local people of Mangawhai.
